Andalucia is next to the well-known circuit of Almeria in the Tabernas area of Spain. The circuit which was constructed in 2015 was designed with input from Moto2 Champion Tito Rabat. Whilst when it was first launched the circuit received mixed opinions, the facility has since undergone a few alterations, turning the circuit into the prefered testing ground of many proffesional teams from all of the major leagues for both cars and motorcycles.
It’s no surprise then that the circuit offers a little of everything, from tight and twisty, to long and flowing, chuck into the mix some big braking zones and you know you are going to have fun round here. To top this off the circuit also has some great elevation changes, which we think always helps to make an exciting lap.
The jewel in Andaluci’s crown though is its weather. Known as the driest circuit facility in Europe it’s a safe bet all year round, including December and January. With the exception of a couple of months in the peak of the summer, when temperatures can make things uncomfortable.
Onsite facilities include a fantastic café bar serving food and refreshments all day, and toilet and shower facilities.
